To ensure a bold and true expression of Assam character, we have created our single origin breakfast blend using the finest second flush tea. Our Head of Tea, Tom, selects the best batches from Assam’s foremost gardens out of the hundreds that he tastes each year. The Assam terroir borders the Himalayas and is renowned for its rich soils, producing teas with the ideal balance of strength, assertiveness and malty flavour – everything that makes the perfect 'english' breakfast tea. *Please dispose of your used tea bags in your council food waste bin.

What's the Story?

Breakfast teas are usually blended from multiple places for uniformity of flavour. This one's single origin though, designed to celebrate the Assam provenance. Created in a highly selective blending process: we taste up to a thousand teas from the summer flush and select less than 1% for this blend. To achieve a character of strong body, deep ruby colour and malt / honey flavour.
