The Marne decanter is one of an increasing collection in RIEDEL's M Series, defined by its simplicity and functionality. The M Series was first introduced in 2017, designed for gentle decanting and therefore perfect for vintage red wines, young white wines, champagnes and orange wine. The inspiration for these new decanters came from elaborately finished cognac and whisky bottles, reinterpreted by Maximilian J. Riedel for this collection.
RIEDEL has become known for its double-decanting decanters that vigorously aerate wines and are therefore unsuitable for older wines. The traditional designs of the M Series cater to wine lovers who desire an easy-to-use decanter without any fuss.
They are functional and beautiful instruments for everyday use. This decanter is designed for a single bottle of wine. This pack contains a single piece. This product is handmade. Please handwash only. RIEDEL recommends: Use bottle cleaners to remove stains from the decanter.
Caring for your RIEDEL Crystal
- RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe. RIEDEL exclusively recommends MIELE
- To avoid stains: use soft water (low mineral content)
- To avoid scratches: Avoid glass contact with other glass or metal
- To remove stains: use white vinegar
- If available use a stemware rack
If washing by hand
- Wash the glass under warm water (use detergent and rinse the glass carefully)
- Glass polishing: Use two polishing cloths, never hold the glass by the base to polish the bowl
- Stem snap: Occurs through mishandling = torque or bend pressure at the stem
- Storage: Avoid glass storage in kitchen cabinets which have strong aromas that translates into glass
Microfiber Polishing Cloth
- Wash at boiling temperature (to kill bacteria) with odorless soap
- Should be machine washed at min. 170° F/75° C
